Wide leg pants

February 29, 2016

Women have borrowed from the male wardrobe a lot of interesting things, but among them trousers are occupy  solid leadership position. I think the reasons for this are many, but the main lies in the fact that it is comfortable, stylish and also a symbol of independence. Now the pants are one of the basic parts of a woman's wardrobe.

Frankly,  I prefer trousers in everyday life. But to learn the craft of sewing I started with feminine skirts - a pencil skirts and A-line skirts. For a long time I postponed the pattern pants, because I was afraid that I can’t do it.

One day I decided, and drove to the fabric store and bought a piece of the cloth and began to search for a suitable model of my future pants. Sewing beginners  will understand me: always hard to move to a new level. Beginners tailors are afraid of change, afraid to ruin an expensive fabric, afraid of learning new techniques. And I am no exception. I decided to sew trousers, because I couldn't find "own" model in a clothing store. I don't like the popular narrow or short pants. I dreamed of a wide and straight pants in the style of Marlene Dietrich and Katharine Hepburn. Therefore, there was only one way out - to sew trousers of my dream from the fabric and the model that I want.

How often do you wear a classic wide pants in everyday life?
